North-East India is a paradise for tourists. Tai-phakey Village Or Namphake Village
With near about 150 odd families living the Tai-Phakey villages or Namphake Village in Assam, it is the largest of the Tai-Phake villages in Assam. It is one of the oldest & most respected Buddhist Monastry of Assam. All of the peoples are Buddhist in religion. The village folk speak a dialect similar to the language in Thailand and still follow the traditional customs and dress code of the great Tai race.
