North-East India is a paradise for tourists. Marat Longri Wildlife Sanctuary, spreading 451.00 sq. kms. is located in Karbi Anglong Autonomous District Council. Marat Longri is a notified but under developed wildlife sanctuary. It is an important component of Dhansiri- Lungding Elephant Reserve. It is located adjacent to the Arboretum and Botanical garden and is less than 10 km away from Diphu.
