Who Was The Last King Of The Chutia Dynasty In Assam?

The last king of the Chutia dynasty in Assam was Dhirnarayan, also known as Nitipal. He ruled during the early 16th century. The Chutia kingdom eventually fell to the expanding Ahom dynasty around 1523 AD, marking the end of Chutia rule in Assam’s upper Brahmaputra valley. Dhirnarayan’s defeat led to the full incorporation of the Chutia territories into the Ahom kingdom.
