Whom Did The Ahoms Defeat First When Ruling Assam?

After arriving in Assam in 1228 AD, the Ahoms, led by Sukaphaa, first defeated the local Moran and Boran tribes. These early victories helped the Ahoms establish their initial settlements in the Brahmaputra Valley and laid the foundation for the rise of their powerful kingdom in Assam.
