One of the main attractions is its collection of orchids growing among the native vegetation. Visitors can explore the pathways, enjoy the fresh mountain air and capture panoramic views, particularly during the early morning or around sunset. The park also has a children's play area with facilities such as swings and slides, making it suitable for family outings.
Bamin Hading Orchid Park has been developed with support from the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council to encourage eco-tourism and appreciation of the area's natural environment. Cultural attractions, including an Indigenous Musical Instrument Museum and folk performances, add another dimension to the visitor experience.
The park is reported to remain open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an entry fee of around Rs. 200 per person. Special evening cultural shows may involve an additional charge. Visitors should wear comfortable footwear because some areas require walking on hilly terrain. Early morning and late afternoon are particularly suitable for enjoying the landscape, photography and cooler weather.
