From June 15, 2026, all Special Darshan ticket bookings are available exclusively through the official online portal - https://mkdonline.in . The earlier counter-based booking system for both morning and afternoon Special Darshan slots has been discontinued. Devotees wishing to avail of the Special Darshan facility must complete their booking online before visiting the temple.
To book a Special Darshan ticket, visit the official booking portal, register using your mobile number, and log in to your account. After logging in, select your preferred date and available time slot. Enter the required visitor details, including name, age, and valid government-issued identity proof information. Once the details are submitted, pay the Special Darshan fee of ₹501 per person using available online payment methods such as UPI, net banking, debit card, or credit card.
After successful payment, a digital pass containing a QR code will be generated. Devotees should download and save this pass on their mobile device and carry the original identity proof used during booking for verification at the temple.
General darshan at Kamakhya Temple continues through physical queues and does not require online registration. Visitors are advised to wear traditional or modest attire and complete their online bookings in advance to avoid inconvenience during peak pilgrimage periods.
